1. ADVISES ITS MEMBER CLUBS THAT UNDER THE DIVISIONS CODE OF CONDUCT, THE DIVISION EXPECTS MEMBERS, WHILST ON ANY CLUB PREMISES TO:
(A) Respect and comply with the Rules and By-Laws as laid down by Bowls Victoria Inc and our Division Constitution and the Etiquette of Bowls and the decisions of all committees.
(B) Not tolerate or participate in any unsavory, abusive, unruly or improper conduct.
(C) Not tolerate any obscene or objectionable language or alcohol abuse
(D) Adhere to the Division Dress Code and that of member clubs as advised.
(E) Not remove or damage any property owned by or under the control of the Division or Clubs.
(F) Any Division member who has a grievance against another Division member shall deliver such grievance in writing to the Division Secretary within fourteen days in accordance with the Division constitution.
(G) Any Division member who contravenes the Rules or By-Laws shall be dealt with by the Executive of the Division in accordance with the Division constitution.
(H) We, the member Clubs of the Campaspe Valley Bowls Division Inc declare that we shall play the game of bowls to the best of our ability, respect the laws and spirit of the game, observe the rules and conditions which govern the competition and commit ourselves to the highest standard of fair play, ethical conduct and good sportsmanship.
2. INFRINGEMENTS AND FAILURE TO PLAY
(a) Infringement of any of the Laws and Rules, may involve disqualification, match points penalty and/or a replay as the CVBD Match Committee may determine in respect of an individual player, team, side, club or match.
(b) If a match point penalty is imposed the game shall be treated as a forfeit by the offending club with the total match points available for the game being awarded to the opponent and 15 shots awarded to the opponent and against the offending side.
3. FAILURE TO KEEP APPOINTMENT
Failure of any player, team or side to keep an appointment to play shall be deemed to be an infringement unless suitable action taken to notify the Division together with a satisfactory reason The Division will be responsible to advise the player(s) receiving the walkover.
4. RULES PERTAINING TO EVENTS OTHER THAN PENNANT
(i) State Events to commence at published times on Page 8 & 9.
(ii) State Events entry fees to be determined prior to start of season by the CVBD Board.
(iii) All entry fees to be paid before State Events are played.
(iv) CVBD Match Committee has the power to obtain enough entries to avoid byes in State Events.
(v) State Events to be played at venue central to all players, if Possible.
(vi) State Events to be played as set down in program - weather Permitting.
(vii) No entries to be accepted after closing date.
(viii) State Entries to be in 8 days prior to Event.
(ix) Players withdrawing from State Events after the Draw has been publicized will be dealt with by Bowls Vic (As per entry sheet).
